— About The Project

Tombras needed our help animating promotional social spots for Pilot Flying J’s jumbo wings and chicken tenders. They wanted these animations to convey that PFJ’s chicken offerings are both jumbo and tender, depicting the chicken pieces as little characters interacting in silly, but heartwarming scenarios.

— Considerations

Our goal with this project was to personify the PFJ chicken, bringing these pieces of chicken to life, or rather back to life — sans zombie chicken. With 15 seconds at our disposal, we challenged ourselves to pack in as much personality and humor into each spot as possible.

— Our Approach

With an organic, hand-drawn look as the stylistic inspiration, we got to work on executing this vision. Simple linework and hand-drawn accents are carried throughout each video creating a cohesive, delightful, and delicious ode to Pilot Flying J’s jumbo wings and chicken tenders.
